STORM RIDER – Preparing to depart Ft. Lauderdale on April 2, 2009

The “Storm Rider Tour” will be aboard MV Ruff Riders, a 50′ foot Grand Banks. Her home port is Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  Decked out in “Storm Warning 4: Last Stand for America’s WETLAND” logos, the tour will move from the Atlantic Ocean through the Florida Keys into the Gulf of Mexico.  The route will include ports of call along the Gulf Coast where major storm events and hurricanes have occurred over the past 100 years.
